Scott Fickling / Director, Construction & Project Management

Scott Fickling is a Director and founding partner of Marina Development Partners. He is responsible for Project Concept Design and Feasibility, Construction and Project Management.


Scott brings extensive experience to the MDP team, including special expertise in Maritime and Marina Development, Project Consent Management and Representation, Corporate Governance, and Public Relations. A qualified marine rigger and boat builder, Scott has 25 years’ experience working in the marine construction sector in project management and head contractor roles.


In 1998 Scott established STF Group Ltd, an Auckland based marine construction and maintenance company, employing 30 staff and owning and operating a variety of marine construction equipment including a fleet of tugs and barges. 


Scott  has developed and managed several marinas and marine related facilities, including the full site redevelopment and then on-going management and operation of The Landing boat yard (16 years) as well as fulfilling General Manager roles at Westhaven, Viaduct and Silo Park Marinas.
